Expert dog training by phd qualified Behaviourist in east kent

Behavioural support from a PhD-qualified dog behaviourist in Deal & East Kent   deal

If you’re dealing with complex issues such as fear, phobias, aggression, reactivity or separation issues, life can feel incredibly lonely and challenging for both you and your dog.

In these situations, behaviour consultation from a qualified, experienced behaviourist is needed to assess your dog, develop an individual behaviour modification program, and provide you with the consistent guidance and support needed to achieve long-term change.

Behavioural consultations examine more than just the behaviour itself. Instead we identify the underlying causes driving behaviour. This ensures that behaviour change and improved welfare go hand in hand, improving the lives of dogs and their caregiver.

We support a wide range of challenges, including;

  • separation issues

  • barking

  • destructive and compulsive behaviours

  • reactivity

  • aggression

  • phobias

Unsure what support you need?

Pathfinder Sessions (£75) are a 1-hour initial consultation to help me understand your dog, discuss your goals and challenges, and determine the best next steps. Sessions may also include practical training steps and “behaviour first aid” guidance where appropriate before moving into a tailored training or behaviour programme.

Behavioural assessment and 90-day treatment plan

Dr Rebecca will begin with an in-depth consultation, usually carried out in your home, where we take the time to fully understand your dog, their history, environment, and the challenges you’re facing. This allows us to build a complete picture of what’s going on.

Following this, we create a detailed, personalised behaviour plan tailored to your dog and your lifestyle, designed to manage and improve the issue in a realistic and achievable way.

We then guide you through the plan step by step and recommend support to ensure you feel confident putting your plan into practice, and you’re never left to navigate things alone.
